What's different about Model 2.2?
U-Mask Model 2.2 is an innovative, biotech and reusable face mask that bidirectionally counteracts the passage of external microorganisms and neutralizes them for up to 200 hours of respiratory use, thanks to its Biolayer™.
From a functional point of view, the new model is equipped with a "mask-tightener", a clip applied on the refill and invisible under the cover, at the nose level, which makes U-Mask Model 2.2 adhere to the face, even more, preventing it from slipping when you speak.
From an aesthetic point of view, for U-Mask Model 2.2, we have also introduced a new color, "blue jeans" blue. It was the color reserved for U-Team employee masks. But as many have requested, we have added it to the assortment.
U-Mask Model 2.2 is not classified as PPE but it has undergone significant testing by fully accredited internationally recognized bodies, achieving more than 99% bacterial filtration capacity (BFE In-->Out and BFE Out-->In), which you can read more about here.
In Italy, U-Mask Model 2.2 has been registered as a medical device and it will be soon extended to the whole of Europe. At the moment, in the rest of the world U-Mask Model 2.2 is classified as a general-purpose mask.
